Lockheed is a fictional dragon-like alien character appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. He is a member of the Dragon Lord race, intelligent and capable of interstellar travel.
He first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #168 (1983) as Kitty Pryde's pet and companion. Kitty, during an adventure in space, befriended the diminutive dragon, whom she named after the Lockheed Corporation, the company that built the SR-71 Blackbird.
